I'm such a horrible person, I have no time to post much lately. I've been working non stop on projects and real life. I will eventually make a decent introductory post with info about me, I promise.

Now, I need to say this:

• The Star Trek fandom is the most awesome fandom ever, and ontd_startrek is the best community in the universe!! ♥
• I offered art commissions to help Haiti, and I ACTUALLY GOT COMMISSIONED!! Yay!! I feel so proud... I can't believe how awesome people can be on this little corner of the not-so-real world. Thanks for giving me the chance to help and appreciating what I do :).

I've been getting a lot of love lately and that makes me feel very happy. I guess it's true what they say, if you surround yourself of good people, your life will also become better. 

Yesterday I was feeling in Heaven, since I finished a picture I really liked and then I got my commissions, which made me feel useful and helpful. Then my stupid retarded stepfather decided I probably looked way too happy, so he decided to start bitching around and ruined my mood. I hate that guy so much it's not even funny...

But then I talked to a couple on friends on Skype and felt a lot better. My friends here and IRL have the magic needed to make my stupid stepfather's influence go away :)

Now I need to finish my picture for the Shipwars prompt (GO, TEAM SPORK!) and then I'll start working on my commissions. I don't know what's going on with the operation80 status... they don't seem to be updating anymore, anyone knows anything? And then there's the ksvalentine's Calendar... so busy. But I'm having fun.

(Sorry if I've been ignoring your Dr Who posts, I'm late and I don't want to spoil myself too much).

Ok, let's see...

I don't really want to talk about 2009 because it sucked :D. So, I'll just hope the new year will be better. Even if my stupid horoscope says it will be even worse than this one. Screw you, horoscope, I don't believe in you anyway.

My objectives for the new year? Pretty simple ones, really:

-I want to finish my animation project.
-Finish writing the Caramel Mokaccino script.
-Write. Just write a lot. This being my novel, fic, anything.
-Draw a lot too.
-Save some money for a possible journey to Mexico.
-Go to College :D. REALLY go.
-Buy my Enterprise model and the Uhura, Tiana and Glinda dolls. I should also complain about the lack of a Bones Barbie, seriously. It would be so epic.

And I guess that's all. I won't be ambitious this year. I have a very big wish too, but that one is a secret :)

Also, I'm in desperate need of a beta. Mine disappeared forever, and since I'm not a native English speaker I'm not confident enough to post fic without someone checking on it first (I write in Spanish and a friend of mine translates). I mostly need someone to help me with the operation80 story, but of course, if anyone wants to help with other stories, I wouldn't complain much. Actually, you can have my first born if you do it.

MY STAR TREK DVD IS FINALLY HERE!!! TEH HAPPINESS!!!

The "normal" 1 disc DVD had arrived a couple weeks ago, but I decided to wait for the Special Edition. I want the extras, dammit.

No Shatner for me, though. The Shat's interview is a Blu-ray only feature :( (which I'm downloading anyway, but still. I need to get a Blu-ray player as soon as possible).

I hate it when old technology becomes obsolete. I still have lots of VHS tapes that I can't watch anymore. I guess the same will happen with the DVDs eventually. But, hey, the bright side is that the new technology is always amazing. I love Blu-ray quality. If only the players (and discs, actually) were not so expensive, it would be awesome.

Now I only need a giant TV to watch my new DVD. Anyone here in Santiago has one? Mine is not big enough :(

La edición "normal" de un disco llegó hace unas semanas, pero preferí esperar a la Edición Especial. Quiero los extras, carajo.

No hay Shatner para mí, por desgracia. La entrevista de él viene sólo en el Blu-ray :( (me la estoy bajando igual, pero bleh. Necesito comprarme un reproductor lo antes posible).

Me carga cuando la tecnología vieja se vuelve obsoleta. Todavía tengo un montón de videos VHS que ya no puedo ver. Supongo que va a terminar pasando lo mismo con los DVDs. Pero hey, a verle el lado bueno al asunto, las tecnologías nuevas la llevan. Me encanta la calidad de los Blu-ray. Si sólo no fueran tan caros, sería lo máximo.

Ahora sólo necesito una tele gigante para ver mi DVD nuevo. Alguien acá en Santiago tiene una? La mía no es lo bastante grande :(
